Jeremy Erickson

Jeremy Erickson grew up in Sault Ste. Marie and always had an interest in movies and television, but it wasn't until his sophomore year in college when he decided to develop those interests into a career choice. He graduated from Pensacola Christian College with a Bachelors of Science degree in Broadcasting in May 2007 and started working for 9&10 News in February of 2008, as a full time Photojournalist. He was promoted to Chief Photojournalist in May 2022. In his time at 9&10 he has covered a wide range of stories. Everything from capturing stunning drone footage over above Northern Michigan and covering "Toddler Races" at the National Cherry Festival, to hard hitting court cases and political races. He was named 2010 Photojournalist of the Year by the Michigan Association of Broadcasters, in 2016 he received second place for "Best Use of Photography" from the Michigan Associated Press Media Editors, and has won various awards for stories he has worked on throughout the years. In his off time he likes spending time with family and friends, and enjoys a good road trip.
