Check out the Traverse City Boat Show March 14th-16th

TRAVERSE CITY - Our state is surrounded by water, which makes watercraft a big part of the economy.

The Traverse City Boat Show kicked off March 14th at the Grand Traverse County Civic Center; the largest boat show in northern Michigan

It’s their 17th year and they’ll feature not just top of the line boats but also outdoor accessories that you’ll need to enjoy Michigan’s lakes.

Whether you’re interested in purchasing something or not, you can still check out all of what northern Michigan’s dealerships have to offer.

“It’s a very important boating market because of our proximity to East Bay, West Bay, Lake Michigan,” says Blue Water Promotions owner Andrew MacDonald .“And if you go up and down the road, you keep seeing boat dealer after boat dealer. There’s a reason for that. There’s a lot of people that buy boats in this market. This market is really kind of watched nationally in terms of what the trends are, what’s happening.”

The boat show ends March 16th.
