TRAVERSE CITY — The annual CherryT Ball Drop raised $15,573 for Project Feed The Kids, a local initiative to provide nutritious meals to children in need.
“With the kindness and generosity of our community, we are now able to feed 7,000 kids with the money that was raised at the CherryT Ball Drop,” Founder of Project Feed The Kids Tiffany McQueer said. “We are incredibly thankful for this opportunity.”
The event’s success was made possible by the support of several key sponsors: Traverse City Tourism, Leelanau Wine Cellars, DoorDash, Delamar Traverse City, Team Elmer’s, North Bar TC and media partner UpNorthLive. Additional support included GFL, Sound Environments, GJ’s Rentals, Security Sanitation and Novum Productions.
“We are so humbled by the incredible support from our community,” CEO of the CherryT Ball Dropn Kat Paye said. “To see so many people choose to celebrate with us on New Year’s Eve and contribute to such a meaningful cause really speaks to the generosity of Traverse City. We’re truly grateful to everyone—our sponsors, volunteers, and attendees—for coming together to help make this event such a success and for enabling us to contribute to such a worthy cause.”
