Michigan Health Officials Report 25,329 Coronavirus Cases, 137 Deaths

Michigan health officials are reporting 25,329 new coronavirus cases and 137 additional deaths since Wednesday.

According to the MDHHS, between Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, the average number of new cases per day is approximately 5,066.

Additionally, they say 57 of the 137 deaths reported Monday were identified during a review of vital records.

In total, Michigan has had 1,301,593 confirmed coronavirus cases, and 23,732 total confirmed COVID-related deaths.

As of Nov. 23, 5,177,835 Michiganders ages five and older have been fully vaccinated against the virus.

As of Nov. 24, 5,741,590 Michiganders ages 16 and older have received at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccine.

According to , 484 adult patients were admitted to Michigan hospitals Monday with a positive COVID-19 status.

They say 75% of those were admissions were unvaccinated or partially vaccinated.
