Former Detroit Police Chief James Craig made a stop in Traverse City along his Campaign Kick Off Tour.

He held a press conference at the Park Place Courtyard.

He was joined by Michigan Representative Jack O’Malley as well as U.S. Congressman Jack Bergman, who endorsed the former police chief.

Chief James Craig is running as a Republican to face Democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer in the November 2022 election.

The next stop on his tour is Thursday morning in Mackinaw City.
