The Cherryland Humane Society Thrift Store held its grand opening in Traverse City Friday.
The store sells everything from clothing and furniture to household goods and pet supplies.
All proceeds of the thrift store directly support animals at Cherryland Humane Society.
“This has been a dream to get this up and running and to see all the effort come together is just amazing,” said Cherryland Humane Society Thrift Store general manager Sharon Carmean. “We have so many people who volunteered to get this going it’s such a joint effort with some great great people who’ve helped put all the pieces together.”
The thrift store is next to the Cherryland Center and is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
