Ford Motor Company is recalling more than 140,000 Ford Focus' because of the potential for a wiper-model failure.
Ford says that in certain models of the 2012 Focus a seal in the connector to the motor of the passenger-side windshield wiper may be missing.
Water or other contaminants could accumulate in the connector, causing the wiper to stop working resulting in reduced visibility and the increased risk of a potential crash.
Ford is expected to notify owners and dealers of the problem around May 21.
