Kevin Usealman joined the Doppler 9&10 Weather Team in August of 2006. Kevin is the meteorologist for Michigan this Morning.

Prior to 9&10 News, Kevin has forecasted for several television and radio stations in the Midwest, mostly in Michigan and Wisconsin. He has also worked for three private forecasting companies with clients ranging from construction crews to ski lodges, which required him to provide very specific, hyper-local forecasts that the clients could rely on. Kevin is a severe weather specialist and experienced storm chaser. He brings his in-depth knowledge and understanding of Great Lakes weather to you every morning.

Kevin was born in Flint, MI and graduated with a Meteorology degree from Central Michigan University in 1997. In 2001, Kevin earned the AMS Seal of Approval for television weathercasting. In addition to his forecasting experience, Kevin spent three years as an aide in the Wisconsin legislature and continues to have an interest in politics and public policy.

Apart from weather, Kevin is a devoted Tigers and Red Wings fan. He also enjoys softball, racquetball, roller hockey, karaoke, music, boating, fishing, traveling and living in northern Michigan with his wife and two young children.
