Official Rules

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. To enter the Heritage Broadcasting Company of Michigan/ WWTV-WWUP TV/ 9&10 News (hereafter referred to as 9&10 News) and Voelker Implement Sales Snow Blower Giveaway Promotion (hereafter referred to as Promotion), fill out an official entry form at Voelker Implement Sales locations in Big Rapids, MI or Lake City, MI. Alternate entry is to print your name, address, city, state, telephone number, and age on a 3x5 card and mail it to Snow Blower Giveaway c/o 9&10 News, PO Box 627, Cadillac, MI 49601. Entries must be received by 3pm on November 25, 2009. 9&10 News and Voelker Implement Sales are hereafter referred to as Sponsors.


2. All valid entries will be entered into a drawing on November 30, 2009, for the Grand Prize. A total of one Grand Prize will be
awarded to the winner. The Grand Prize is a John Deere Single Stage Snow Thrower model 522E, having an approximate value of $700.00. No substitution or transfer of prize permitted. Taxes are the sole responsibility of winner.

3. Prize Winner will be selected on November 30, 2009, during 9&10 News’ morning newscast, Michigan This Morning. Prize Winner will be notified on November 30, 2009, by telephone. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The judges’ decisions are final.

4. Five alternate winners will be drawn on November 30, 2009, only to be used if Prize Winner is ineligible.
Prize claim is subject to verification by 9&10 News. In the event the winner declines to accept the prize or has not
complied with these rules within the time period stated, an alternate winner will be awarded the prize.

5. Sponsors are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, undeliverable, or illegible mail. Sponsors and their subsidiaries, advertising or promotion agencies and their employees are not responsible for any damaged, stolen, incomplete, illegible, lost, late, misdirected or mutilated entry forms or verification documents.

6. Prize Winner will be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility, Advertising and Liability Release within seven days of
notification or prize will be forfeited. The Prize Winner agrees to use their name/voice/likeness in publicity, advertising, and on website without further compensation.

7. By entering this contest, each entrant agrees to abide by the rules of this contest and any decisions of Sponsors with respect to any aspect of this contest. All decisions of Sponsors are final and binding. Disqualification will result if entrant or Prize Winner does not comply with these rules. In the event of any errors in the communication of the promotion including, but not limited to, its rules, prizes, and dates, the decisions of Sponsors prevails.


8. Sponsors, their subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and all respective employees, officers, directors, representatives, and agents are not liable whatsoever for and will be held harmless by Prize Winner from any injuries, losses, damages of any kind, caused in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by any prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize or participation in this promotion.

9. Sponsors are solely responsible and have complete discretion for interpreting and applying these rules, conducting the contest and awarding all prizes. Sponsors, in their sole discretion, reserve the right to cancel this Promotion.

10. Contest open to Michigan residents, 18 years of age or older, except employees and their immediate families of Sponsors, their affiliates, subsidiaries and advertising/promotion agencies. Void where prohibited or where it does not comply with the requirements of any law. Enter as often as you like.

11. Entries become the property of Sponsors. By entering this promotion, you agree to have your name, address, phone number, and age given to Sponsors. This information will not be sold; it is only for promotional use by Sponsors.
