Dozens of schools in the region closed recently because of flu outbreaks.
Some districts are still dealing with the illness, but many others are back open and attendance rates are back to normal.
Last Tuesday 24-percent of students at Alanson were home from school.
After five days off to recover, only eight-percent are missing today, which the superintendent says is average.
