  First I have never left my kids in the car not even for a minute. Second, people hurt their own kids all the time. It really doesn't matter how much you think you know someone. Third, the fact is that she put her kids in danger regardless if she met to do it or not. As a parent you think of your kids and if you can't do that, there are people out there who would love to take good care of them.

  i know brandy and i know that plea she took. it was no where near 5 years of probation. the only reson why she took a plea was because she wants to just get done with the criminal side of it and hopefully get her kids back home asap. but just because she took a plea doesn't make her gilty or any thing it just shows on how much she cares about her kids. now dont judge her, help her and her family by praying for them to be back to gethere asap. thanks for listening and have a nice day..

  i know this mother vary well, and i cant seem to think that she would ever want to hurt her kids. think about it would anybody want to hurt their own childeren??? i dont beleive the media right now, i dont believe she left her kids in a running van alone. thats nonsence!!!! everybody that listening to the media needs to talk to the mother and find out what really happened that day/night last april. you guys that are saying "lock her up and throw away the key" you guys have no freaking idea whats going on with her and her family, i just hope that when the real truth comes out that you guys understand how stupid you guys are for bad mouthing her! when she did nothing but take her childeren to the hospital for being sick!! i just hope you guys all understand what your saying, your all stupid idoits for saying what you guys are saying!

  I know this person very well and have had her and her children over many times. Brandy would never try to hurt her children intentionally, she is a great mom. All of you think that you know the whold story when you dont, alll you know is what the paper and press have told you, I think you all neeed to shut up until you know the whole story , and then and only then, should you be able to make your comments

  ok now how can everyone els be able to judge her or any one at that point when your selfs probably aren't that good of parents to begin with. no one is a perfect parent any ways. now before anyone els trys to judge her, how about you guys get the hole story and the true story at that. i know the hole true story. i know her and i know how she is with any kids. i have also seen her with kids and i can tell you guys right now shes one of the best person and mother that i have ever meet. she doesn't have it in her heart to kill,or hurt any one. so why not give her,her kids back to her. all she tryed doing was to make sure that her kids were always safe and now this is what she gets in return of taking them to the hospital. if you ask me thats stupid. you guys should be on her side and not beleiving every thing you guys see on tv because they lied, i know this cuz i was there with her when she took the plea. everyone needs to think be for judging her or anyone at that.

  Forget jail time. The children should be taken away from her so that they have a chance at a safe & normal life with responsible & loving people.

  Mother. My point exactly. I am the father of three and if this were me the judge would not think twice to through me in jail and throw away the keys. Not only should you ask what if the car slipped into gear but the vehicle was running, what if the vehicle caught fire. There are a lot of what ifs but the one question that needs to be answered is, what is the justice system comming to when children can not be protected against these typs of parents....

  Okay so lets face it she will not get jail time. Not that she needs to get anyway. I hope they lock her up and get rid of the key. She needs to rot in jail for what she did to those kids. They are her babies. I remember when it all first started and the dad himself told her that it was unfit for them kids to be in. As for mother in michigan, You are right that if it was a father then he would be locked up for the rest of his life. He would never see his kids again nor anymore that he had for that matter. I don't like to see any child be put into the foster care system, but my god if the father is not able and there is no other family memebers then those kids need to enter child foster care and that is where they need to stay. I hope she goes to jail and stays there. WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE TODAY????

  This woman deserves more than probation. Back in April when this all started it was told to investigators that, she was warned by not only family but a friend that the vehicle was unsafe, and that there was a high probability of CO2 poisoning if she drove it due to the exhaust being bad. She stil drove the vehicle, with her children in it, got out of the vehicle, left her children in it and left it running.Now that is STUPID. Now does she deserve jail time YOU BETCHA she deserves jail time. And I hope that the judge goes against the prosecutor and gives it to her. If he/she doesnt then the justice system has failed those poor children.

  Of course there will be no jail time. This is a mother in Michigan. She can get away with pretty much anything, unless they can prove she was spoon feeding them crack cocaine. If it was a father who did this, he would be in jail and would never see his kids again. Why should you ever leave your kids in a running vehicle anyway? What if the vehicle slipped into gear? Take your kids with you.

  Okay so in America people get there kids taken away for the dumb things that they do. I understand this and all, but then they work there butts of to get them back. Now you have this girl here, she is going to get five years probation. Are you kidding me thats it. So are you telling me that it is okay for people to go out and almost kill there kids and it is okay. It is aganist the law to leave your kids in the car.. If it is for not yet then it should be. I don't care how old they are anything can happen to them. Even if you have to run into the local gas station and pay for your gas. Don't leave them in the car. There are so many people out there that would just take them and NOT THINK TWICE ABOUT IT. Come on people get real. She should never be able to have kids again. Take out everything that way she can't have kids. Don't ever give her kids back to her. The next time and I am sure that there will be a next time she will kill her kids.

  are parents not allowed to raise their kids anymore??? there comes a time when you have to do something with your kids with you for no more than a minute, so you leave them in the car..this is so ridiculous.. this woman does not deserve prison at all.. unless she intentionally left them in there for a long period of time while having in mind about the potential CO2 emission..

  I have been following this story since April. What kind of a world do we live in that lets parents nearly kill their children and do not suffer any jail time. What now? Will she get her children back to try again? I am shocked!
