  My husband and I decided to keep our 2nd grader home until the Flu has calmed! Schools can only do so much to protect against the spread of it! We limit grocery shopping and are staying out of eating establishments!

  When schools get below 75% attendence is when they close. They want you to say open for along as you can. I know at the school my children attend, they are sparaying lysol on all locker handles, door knobs, keyboards, mice, faucets, toliet handles, every desk and anything else that has student contact every day. You are more apt to get the bug by going to the grocery store or doctors office than at school.

  I am also suprised that Chip Hills is not closed. I think that is crazy! My kids have come home everyday and tell me that there are more and more students missing! They really need to consider closing and the safety of their students!!

  I am glad they closed Harbor Springs, my kids have been fighting a cold since school started. Of course they did not have a fever associated with this cold or I would have kept them home. I am almost afraid to send my kids to back to school when they open back up.

  i know they closed boyne city school until mon and they are a couple in other school im thinking boynefalls is next im not lett ppl play in my house until we get thing 8ndercomtrol if it ever dose im trying to keep my family safe

  I am surprised that Chippewa Hills has not cancled, my sons friend is being hospitalized.
