this is not begging. these kids need to know there is someone who is willing to let go of a couple things they are not wearing or using . that is called community help. Ed im sorry it took u tooth and nails to get what is needed there are churches out there that are willing to help, believe me i needed help once or twice being single mom and helping daughter with grandbaby.you do not tneed to give food, clothes or blankets or im sure family would appreciate anything from anyone even a word of im truely sorry...
After reading the commet made by ed, i was upset. This family is not begging for anything, this family has a need. This family DID want a fire to take away everything. When something horrible like a house fire, you arent thinking about "begging for help", I know from experience, last year my family went through the same thing and not once did we "beg" for anything..you do know what this family is going through until you have been. Maybe Ed should have realized who did the story and understand that at least he has a belt to tighten..
Where do you get off saying something like that? this family lost everything in a fire. You ED have a place to put your head down at night.I hope to God it never Happens to you .
to me there's a difference between someone "begging" for assistance and LOSING everything in a fire. i watched my neighbor's house burn down one summer, and they lost everything. if someone wants to donate clothes or a few cans of dog and food to help this family get back on their feet, there's nothing wrong with that.
what we need right now is for our communities to pull together and depend on EACH OTHER not the government.
If we start giving money to everybody that needs help where will it stop? I'm in need of help. I'm disabled and had to fight tooth and nail to get any kind of assistance but I didn't go begging on the internet.Pull together and tighten you're belt and be A father to those kids. show by example. You start begging and they will grow up living off the government.
