Some of the Cadillac area's most prominent people are laid to rest in the Maple Hill Cemetery in Cadillac.

This weekend you'll have a chance to learn more about some of Cadillac's earliest settlers during a special cemetery tour put on by the Wexford County Historical Society and the Cadillac Footliters.

Costumed guides will take you through the cemetery on a one hour tour, stopping at 12 different grave sites.

Kalee and Corey met up with some of the tour guides this morning to give you a first look at what the tours will be like.

The tours start on Saturday, October 3rd at noon. Groups of people will go out on the tour every half hour between noon and 2:30 p.m. Anyone interested in attending the tour, should meet at the Wexford County Historical Society at 127 Beech Street in Cadillac. Buses will shuttle tour goers over to the cemetery and back. Tickets can be purchased at the historical society
