This weekend is the 62nd AuSable River Canoe marathon. It is the longest non-stop canoe race in North America. Time trials, or sprints, take place Thursday and Friday, then the race takes off Saturday night at 9 p.m. from downtown Grayling.

A record 90 teams from 16 states are signed up to compete in the 120-mile marathon. They end in Oscoda at the shores of Lake Huron.
